AM First Steps (Toddlers)

1 - 2.5 Years - Discovery - 45 minutes

At AM First Steps (Toddlers), children take their very first steps into the world of learning through gentle, child-centred experiences. Each session is fun, engaging, and sensory-rich, with activities designed to nurture curiosity and celebrate early milestones. With parents or guardians assisting each week, children feel supported and confident as they explore and discover. Parents remain responsible for the supervision and care of their child throughout the lesson.

Our program introduces toddlers to early learning experiences such as colour and number recognition, phonemic and alphabet awareness, music, rhythm, movement activities, and following simple instructions. Every session is designed to balance playful discovery with purposeful learning, ensuring children remain at the centre of the experience while their unique needs and interests guide the activities.

The toddler program is delivered as a 45-minute, parent-assisted session and is open to children aged 1 to 2.5 years. It runs in line with the NSW school terms, offering 10 weeks in Terms 1, 2 and 3, and 8 weeks in Term 4.

After completing the Toddler Program, children are invited to progress into AM First Steps (Pre-Preparatory School), providing a supportive pathway into the next stage of their learning journey.
